First of all, I still say this: DO NOT GIVE ME LLAMAS!! I STILL DO NOT WANT THEM!!
As many of you know, I have expressed my displeasure at receiving llamas ever since they first came out. I'd like to run over a few numbers with you on things. I have a friend who wishes to remain anonymous that allowed me to borrow these stats from him.
Number of llamas I've received since telling people I don't want them: 37 and climbing.
Number of llamas received by my friend that begs for them before offering a give a llama get a llama: 0
Number of llamas received by my friend that begs for them after offering give a llama get a llama: 1
What does this really say about us? Have we really become a society that just doesn't care about what other people think? Does my friend really need to tell others not to give him llamas just so he can get some? (Right now he has just a basic llama.)
Truth be told, this whole llama thing is just a way to channel some more money into the wallets of DA's mods, since you can buy objects to customize your llama.
On a different DA topic, it has now been almost two months since DA's so-called "harmless practical joke" which has left my avatar stuck on default and prohibited me from changing my signature. I have tried to change this from three different computers, two of which were public access. In my other account, I am able to change the avatar and sig freely with no problems on all three. Other people were able to change avatars and sigs at the public access PCs with no problems. I have cleared out my caches, and done several things at my end to fix this problem. Nothing has worked. I was told by
to talk to
about this problem. I have sent
three notes. The first two got no response. The third one did get an immediate response - a picture of Fella standing in front of a bunch of "Do not cross" tapes with the words "Forbidden this artist has blocked your account" on it.
recently featured one of my stories in a journal entry of hers. However, the preview had all the words crossed out (as if the strike HTML command had been used.)
Don't you think this has gone on long enough? Okay, ha ha your joke was funny. [/monotone sarcasm] I will be at the DA meetup at A-kon. I invite any of the mods to talk to me about this face-to-face. However, considering how many people hate the new version 7 of DA, it wouldn't surprise me if they laid low for a while.
On a more positive note,
has just finished a commission of Kimiko as Meia Gisborn from VanDread. [link]
has just finished a commission of Chantal cosplaying as Keena Soga from Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou. [link]
