In other news, I'm sure you've heard by now about the devistating earthquake and resulting tsunami in Japan. My heart does go out to the people of the land of the rising sun. The global recession has been very bad for them, and they did not need something like this now. However... what they definitely do not need is some religious zealot saying that this is god's retribution for all those years of making porn. They also do not need some pompous jerk going around saying that it was divine retribution for passing their recent restrictions on porn.
Could you at least wait until the situation with the neuclear reactors has been resolved before unleashing your stupidity on us?

That mot poster is not only offensive, it's factually wrong. Though they only make up a single digit percentage of the population, there are Christian Japanese--mostly Catholic, and mostly around Nagasaki, which was the only port open to Western traders. Plus there were still Catholic converts (from the Spanish and Portuguese missionaries) that the shogun's forces hadn't wiped out.
These kind of people should NEVER be allowed to appear on tv or be listened to in any way.
