I went through hell trying to get down to San Japan... driving from Dallas to San Antonio in the dead of the night. Then when I get to my hotel, I find they've double-booked my room and put me in a smoking room to make up for it. I am VERY allergic to cigarette smoke. In addition, the only light that worked in the room was the one over the sink.
I won't be going back there anytime soon.
However, once I got to San Japan I had a wonderful time. I showed off the Kimura motivational poster, which a lot of people seemed to like. I really liked how Ninja Hell showed off F--k You, Baltimore! (since I had suggested it to Otaku hell more than a year ago. Just google it, but it's got a lot of foul language in it. Let this be a lesson: NEVER make your voice-over guy angry.)
Anyway, there's now a contest going on at
On a more serious note, when I got back I found out someone hacked into the account of Jessica Elwood and got her banned. The general consenus is that it was some troll that just hated her work. (Probably because she is a good artist.) Even worse, this troll is now spreading around rumors that Jessica's account was NOT hacked into, and that all the gore and guro that got posted there was her creation. Although I didn't see this stuff, I have been told that the art style was definitely NOT that of Jessica. According to the account I read, there were no furries (Jessica loves doing furries) and there has never been any evidence that Jessica would do guro.
Haters really lead a sad existence. No lives, no friends, and nobody to care about them. They blindly rage at everyone and everything without trying to understand why they are in the position they are in now. In the end, they always end up destroying themselves. I also found a flame in my notes that went like this:
"How pathetic to see you're still around and still f---ing things up royally. Get offline, a----le!!"
"It may be easier to hate than to love, but it is more divine to love than to hate."
Here's what I say to all the haters: instead of being so angry and thoughtless, why not try to determine *why* you are angry and work it through. Instead of trying to bring others down, why not try to raise yourself up? There are thousands of tutorials out there that are happy to show you the right way to do things. Research and learn. Learning is one of the main reasons why we are on this planet to begin with.
