Once again... DO NOT GIVE ME LLAMAS! I DO NOT WANT THEM!! This is a silly placebo designed to take your money. Giving them out a lot only means you follow the herd mentality, much like sheep to the slaughter. I do not mind it if you trade with someone else, but I will not give you one back if you give one to me. If you like my work, fave it.
Also... please do NOT ask or beg me to commission you! I am getting very sick of that. It's always some artist that really stinks too. I know there's a stamp somewhere that reads "I commission who I want" but I lost the URL. Anyone know where it is? If you want me to commission you, invite me to look at your page, and then I will decide if I want to commission you or not.
Anime Weekend Atlanta was a blast. I emptied my satchel of Secret Agent Fangirl fliers, talked to some more people, refilled on Anime Hell (I was starting to go through withdrawal.) About the only thing I wasn't expecting was the steep hills of Smyrna. It was like being out in the hill country west-northwest of San Antonio. Traffic was easy compared to what I usually go through here in Dallas. I-285 was a cakewalk compared to the usual mess that I-635 is during rush hour. About the only program I thought was missing was a con horrors panel, since I love to swap those kind of stories.

In other news, on this day *mumbles* years ago, I was born. I thank everyone for the birthday greetings. So far, I've gotten about 24, which was about 24 more than I expected. (I really could have done without the five llamas though.)

Ecchi Expo recovery: the good and bad

The good: The con itself was very nice, I got to meet a bunch of people and had a lot more people at Caption This Picture! than I was expecting. The bad: The hotel overbooked and I got sent to a really bad hotel on the seedy side of town. This place looked very poorly maintained and I didn't feel safe with all those homeless people around me. The internet was spotty at best and really dragged everything down. San Japan Recovery: Fun but exhausting...

San Japan was a pretty big convention; a lot of people were there. I'd say it's second only to A-kon in the region in terms of size. There was some fun moments, I blew way too much money, and I get to do it again at the end of the month in Houston. Among the good: I was able to get the autographs I wanted, I also found two artists that were taking con commissions and got them to do two of my OCs. That is on the imgbox site under the screenies. One is Chantal cosplaying as Makina from Chainsaw man in a torn-up outfit. The other is Star Sign nude. I met a bunch of new people and even got to play Cards Against Humanity, something I haven't done at a con since the pandemic hit. Also, they had a large display of a bunch of other

Hadn't gone through Smyrna in my travels through Georgia, but that sounds a lot like driving the hills of Chattanooga, TN, and around Marietta, Stone Mountain, and Kennesaw in the north near the GA/TN border. They all sound like great places to learn how to drive a stick shift.
Re. Anime Hell--is it focused on a certain title, or on several titles with a unifying theme? Sorry to hear that you couldn't dish on more con horrors, like that ass hat who pulled the fake fire alarm.
