Ranpha, like her fellow Galaxy Angel teammate Forte, would be another lousy maid. She is very manipulative, constantly scheming, and always has things go wrong for her. (Which is a bit ironic for someone who's a fortune teller.) Don't get me started on how they treated her in the Rune anime. (Legend has it that the American voice actors thought the Rune anime was so bad they walked out as a group after the first episode. I can't say I blame them if that's true.) She's been told her prince is coming and to wait for him in a sexy pose.

Truth be told, the quality was dropping off before Rune. I have sold off nearly all my GA DVDs because the joke was funny once, but not enough to stand up to multiple viewings like, for example, Excel Saga (insert shameless plug for journal entry). Ranpha, Forte and Major Mary are my favorite GA ladies. Ranpha sounds like the old Hee-Haw song re. finding Mr. Right: if it weren't for bad luck, she'd have no luck at all. Aside from the wide shot, nice work.
