One of the weirdest crack animes out there is Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi. It was not the first anime where a sexy babe fell in love with a brooding bishi, but after its release, that trend seemed to take off more. Supposedly done right after Neon Genesis Evangelion's first run, the studio said they wanted to do "something more lighthearted than the brooding Evangelion." I think we know what she's praying for, but her chances of getting it are very slim. More of her is on the Tumblr site.
