Let's call a spade a spade here: Medaka Kurokami is a Mary Sue. She has the "perfect body," is super smart and has a bunch of guys wanting her. She was able to move a four-story building by being tied to it with a bunch of sharp fishing lines. After a while, I couldn't take it anymore. Of course, Hansode would be a bit out of character if she wasn't eating something.
