My OCs cosplay the Aria the animation characters. A lot of people deride this anime because of its slow pace and lack of violence. I found it to be well-written and a nice change of pace from seeing anime characters beat on each other constantly. It's meant to be like a gondola ride; and gondola rides are slow. This one took forever to do. Posing Chantal and Kimiko was very hard as the oar kept getting all weird.
We have, from left to right: Chantal Du Roquillere as Akari Mizunashi, Celine as Alicia Florence, Kimiko Matsuga as Aika S. Granzchesta, and Yayoi Satou as Akira E. Ferrari.
I'm somewhat familiar with that title, and the very lack of said violence and fast action sounds like the reasons why it isn't all that popular. Everything has to be so kinetic or wacky nowadays, but it seems like Aria, along with the works of Studio Ghibli, are bucking that trend. You've made some great cosplays here, though the alliterative names of the Aria girls are going to cause some confusion. Excellent work, and crank up the Pavarotti!
The alliteration was the work of the original author. Another thing I like about it is that the girls all work together to their common goal despite working for different companies.
