Memorial Day in the USA is a time to pause and reflect upon the sacrifices that our forebarers gave to have the freedoms we have today. However, I firmly believe in trying to talk things out before taking up arms. Unfortunately, I seem to be more and more in the minority here. The song that they are singing is Kate Bush's "Army Dreamers" (official video here: [link])A nice anti-war song that doesn't preach politics or condemn those who fight... it shows the human tragedy of war.
History is littered with Svengali-like leaders swaying their people to fill their grandiose dreams. Sadly, in the end, it's the soldier that must pay the ultimate price for such hubris.
I wanted to put him in cammo as well, but it wouldn't work. He only comes like that and placing a blank in cammo over him looked weird.
